Blind alley

Could artificial intelligence (AI) develop far beyond our own, and a single vast cogitating entity, the AllTime emerge.

Artificial inteligence, the work of Man, will never approach the human intelect, the work of God so everything here is just simply wrong!!! :D

Turing and Serle wrap it up

Im afraid earthangle is right if for wrong reasons. Alan Turing invented Turing test for intelligence in pcs expecting it to be passed quite soon. 50 years later and still our biggest & best come nowhere near it. And John Searle’s ‘Chinese Room’ thought experiment shows pretty clearly it never will be.

only little problem is; exact same reasoning also prooves humans can never think either. :D
